Architect – Dublin Based Property Firm (Flexible Working)

(2 – 3 Days in the office per week)

Associate Director – (with progression plan to Director level)

Our client, a leading Dublin based Real Estate consultancy wish to appoint a senior level Architect, most likely at Associate Director level to grow and lead that part of their business. They have a significant portfolio of work at all stages of the development life cycle across the Island but particularly in Dublin. This is a business unit leader role the successful candidate will be expected to have an interest in the business aspects of the role, experience leading people, developing clients, and winning work as well as having a flair for design.

This is quite a unique role. The clients mostly already exist within the business unit and are there to be developed and nurtured. They merely need a suitably ambitious Architect, looking to lead a business unit, with the support of a multi discipline team.

Our client has a proven track record in growing and supporting new business lines within their organisation and this is something we have been proud to support them with. We are in a unique position of being able to demonstrate how they have done this with other service lines in the organisation.

Skills and experience wise we will need to see significant client facing experience. You will need to be able to show you have negotiated contracts, won repeat business, and managed fee accounts.

Significant experience in the local market is also a prerequisite as this will initially be a standalone role, with the support of Architectural teams in other locations and the directors locally.

This is a multi-discipline team environment; we are looking for a team player. The sectors they are active in cover all areas of construction and development market.

This is an extremely past paced and agile environment and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of potential occupiers and the property market in general are key. Decisiveness and the ability to make informed decisions quickly are seen as essential personal attributes for the successful candidate. Previous experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously is required.
